    Melting Cloud Mug

    $28.00

Each mug starts with a hand stamped slab so each and every one is different. They’re then constructed by hand with a textured pattern inside, and glazed so each cloud melts. The handle texture feels solid in your hand. These are dishwasher safe and hold a 12oz of liquid, so caffeinate to your hearts content, leave some room for a generous splash of whiskey, bobble of marshmallows or fluff of whipped cream. Or just have some soup. The angled rim means everything will roll right off with no drips. NO ONE likes a dribble cup.

    Nest

    $52.00

Nest is a bowl that wants what’s within to peek out. It asks diners to carefully eat what’s inside, just as careful as you might be with a real nest full of eggs. Perched on three delicate legs, each holds a 4-6 oz of food. Imagine a pea risotto, with edible flowers peeking out between branches, or a sunomono with black sesame seeds. Even a trio of soft boiled quail eggs on purple potatoes would be spectacular. While delicate, Nest can be stacked 3 high for storage and is easy to serve.

When Nest is out of stock it is made to order. Production time is 7-9 weeks.

  • Rain

    Rain

    $68.00

Rain is a sculptural plating option that is ideal for tables where diners face each other. The front face of Rain is a pale blue raindrop. The back, almost wholly hidden from the diner, is the orchid in back. Easier to serve with than it looks, grasp the orchid with thumb and forefinger to hold it. Rain has a concave bottom, so sauced items stay put. It allows for height of your food, but also provides a good amount of white space for a smaller item. Follow the curves of the piece for the most impact. Rain looks more delicate than it is- it goes easily through the dishwasher.

When out of stock, Rain is made to order. Production time is 7-9 weeks.

  • Ramen Bowl

    Ramen Bowl

    $88.00

Ramen. Ramen? Ramen. Not kidding you, I consulted with an actual group of ramen enthusiasts, with an appropriately wacky ramen adjacent name on the ideal size and height and shape of an ideal ramen bowl. and then I just laughed and discarded most of it because I mean… the ideal bowl held like 96oz of ramen. It was a big gulp of noodles. F’n nerds. This bowl is precisely the standard 4″ x 8″ you’ll find in restaurants and holds a very respectable 40oz of ramen. But what I was aiming for is that one bowl that makes each time you sit down with a hot bowl of soup special. That special bowl. The one that makes you happy when you pull it off the shelf. And this one comes with its own spoon- which will never ever fall into the bowl because a hook on the end prevents it from doing so. You can also hook it to the bowl. This bowl was thrown and then hand carved with melting clouds applied to the inside and a cobalt exterior.

    Small Pitcher

    $38.00

If you’ve ever thought “this syrup bottle is putting me off my pancakes” or “its a lot to ask my guests to use the milk carton when getting coffee” then folx, *you* need a pitcher! And I think you’d like this one. Even if you don’t agree, buy it anyways! Art can surprise you! Its glazed a pure white inside with a very succinct lip so everything rolls off it without dripping. It will happily accommodate any sauce or gravy or syrup or cream you throw at it. Infact, now that I think about it, you should really get two, because no one just puts cream out anymore. Get one for cream, one for soymilk. Actually, you should probably get 5 so you can put out almond milk too, because people are very specific about their coffee needs. Each of these pitchers holds 8-10oz of viscous liquid. Or non viscous, but I enjoy saying viscous.

    Stone

    $42.00

Stone stacks 3-4 high for storage rightside up or upside down. Design continues across the entire bottom of the bowl, which balances perfectly but rocks when played with. Because of the concave nature of the bowl, its not ideal for sipping from, but is perfect for digging a spoon or chopsticks into. Marry Stone with Leaf, Feather or Pool for an entire plating option.
